Color Pencil Jargon

Color Pencil Jargon
Color pencil jargon washed away by morning rain,
For last night’s song never mattered;
A rainbow taken by the floods.
It shimmered in the glass there, momentarily,
And held together for a split second after impact,
Weighing the weight of your words,
But your color pencil jargon was as destructive as it was appeasing
And this whole time,
I’ve been living in that split second shattered glass decides what to do with its shards,
Frozen beautifully like crystals,
Before splintering under reality’s boot.
