Knowledge Unconsumed

Knowledge Unconsumed

Knowledge unconsumed in the distaste of accusations from powerless authority who still reign because of public ignorance.
Love disheartened by the abuse of trustworthy texts sent carelessly by a solicitor across the room.
Power accumulated through the hunger of society, pretending to make this a better place, to make us better people
By relieving us of our knowledge,
And of our remnants of love.
A world composed of disintegrating abstracts,
those that were once valued among heroes, lies euphoric in euphemisms, mechanically teaching humanity to its young.
So please tell me,
What have we become?
