Whiskey-ed Galaxy

Whiskey-ed Galaxy

The dark side of the moon teases her all night with interstellar enigmas and visions of a whiskey-ed galaxy.

Starry-eyed, she stumbles into a palm tree-ed noon

She blinks

A jungle of strangers swarm her, greedily imbibing her share of air

bringing eve sooner than time should permit

She gifts it to them, wanting nothing more than to save the people of Earth;
feeling comfort under eve’s mask

Anyway, she’d moved to a whiskey-ed galaxy long ago.

An accepted alien, she watches the green and blue turn from the midnight of her window,
Wondering how the sleeping world pulls itself around the sun.
